Is it intolerance or unhappiness?

We have seen a spurt of activities and debate recently on growing religious intolerance and its global; a person who has lived in Middle East probably have seen bigger intolerance for over a decade and it’s not unique to this region; basically it’s a global phenomenon and very few countries those who are actually not affected.

Don’t get a shock : the root causes of many such global issues are actually due to rapid technological innovation in last couple of decades; in macro level world is divided broadly in two regions: countries those are technologically advanced and those are relatively behind. The clash is there between have and haven’t. In micro level the differences could be visible within the country and between educated and less educated. This gap has expanded with more and more technological development in last 20 years. The frustration of the regions with less education and less income are being exploited by people with political /and religious vested interest; the youths are easily being brain washed for terrorism and other anti –establishment activities and we could see the level of intolerance growing

Technology has also greater role in creating lesser jobs in the long run; the world has failed to create enough jobs keeping with its economic growth. The rate of unemployment is going to rise gradually and people have to channelize the energy somewhere probably more into leisure activities and in Gym J; many professionals are retiring early due to factors, where some are being redundant as new workforce are much younger , better trained and well equipped with better technological tools. A person at its 50 can’t compete with a young techie at their 20s or 30s; they are smarter and better trained in schools and universities. We probably don’t need to work as physical as our earlier generation and mass produced goods makes our life easier. The redundant workforce from rich countries could spend more times with family or other social activities but where these workforces would channelize their energy in mid or lower income countries as they can’t have such luxuries.

These people would be more involved in destructive activities. It has been proven recently with the rise of ISIS; the brain and power behind ISIS is actually the ex army men of the erstwhile Iraqi force under Saddam Hussein who were made redundant by faulty US policy and the world is paying its price. Any nation who is not capable to provide legitimate employment will face such social problem. In countries like India where economy is growing above 7-8 % (it’s a paper tiger only) the reality is different; it’s not creating jobs in that ratio and witnessed social unrest at various parts of the country; either for issues of reservation, religion, holy cow issues and rapes; probably rape and murder becomes like a wild fun by a section of people. It would witness more such activities in near future with rising global problem and with lesser economic growth

We human need to adopt a sustainable lifestyle and need a balanced approach in our lifestyle; creating more rich is not the solution; it creates more pollution , global warming and breaking family and human values; rather we should create more middle class people which helps in stabilizing the socio economic structure. The perfect harmony probably would never be achievable even with best corporate solution or industry best practices but could be contained for longer period with visionary approach. From a philosophical views : the universe and our world is the result of a big explosion if we believe in “Big Bang” theory ; which was certainly violent and any disruption can’t be peaceful; so the hidden genetic structure of this universe is disruptive . “A perfect harmony and perfect happiness is never achievable in an imperfect world” and we will live with such unhappiness be in personal or in global in nature; technology is the tool which is actually devised by nature ( or God probably) to keep disruption alive and make us more vulnerable .

Unfortunately there is nothing to Cheer about !
