The global economy is facing one of its biggest challenges; it’s becoming more complex  compelling and chaotic; no one probably on a steady growth trajectory with the constant changing business environment. The ever changing technological advancement made it more complex for traditional way of doing business. The mining, making steel, agriculture or manufacturing cars is no more very attractive business with lower return, greater competition and global supply risk  –  make it highly volatile. The dot com, e-commerce currently gives more values for the new knowledge economy ; though how long it could be sustainable is questionable

 

So where actually we are moving? the new knowledge economy actually not creating enough jobs though it creates $ values which is fundamentally wrong. World is facing huge social unrest due to imbalance in wealth. Some industry is capable of creating lot of jobs but it creates mostly white collar clerical workforce; which doesn’t add values to the human knowledge for future advancement.

 

We are somewhere confused! somewhere we are lost in abundance and pursuing a materialistic goal which is infinite . "living in abundance" actually is one of the root cause of major global problems ; In other way the technology triggered consumerism which actually is creating more problems; the overall technological advancement and greater industrialization is actually not benefitting us the way we perceived at the beginning .

 

Probably we need to keep it in mind that " expecting an infinite growth in a finite world not practical and sustainable"
